The feeling in my heart
Matches the look on my face.
I’m trying to control my anger,
Trying to subside my tears.
I feel like yelling, screaming, crying!
My pain built up over these years.
I’m so very confused!
What in the world is going on?
The world needs to make up its mind!
They’re all on and off! Hot and cold!
They look like friends,
They look like family,
But in the end, they turn out to be,
Nothing more than the enemy!
I feel there’s only one person,
In this whole world,
That I can really, truly trust,
But then again…
Can I even really trust…
Me?
