A new year, a new me

That’s who I, am planning to be

The past is clear

The future, a cloud

My mind is racing

But I do not doubt

I’ll make it through

And this hope that I have

To others I shall give

Soar through the sky

I’ll help them up

I’ll help them take flight

I’ll help them see

See the wondrous light

I’ll be their guide

I’ll show the way

I’ll be right by them

By them all the way

And if they need a favor

If they need a friend
