The moon

Is fading slowly

A faint, limpid hope

As the world sleeps

No one notices

The sun

Is rising eagerly

An incandescent hope

As the world awakens

Everyone notices

Looks as though

It may pour down tears

Feel as though

They may cry out raindrops

Angel of Death

I see your face, my cheeks flush

I feel all warm inside, fuzzy almost

I see your face, I can’t breathe

My thoughts, they vanish, my brain leaves

I can’t think straight, my minds a mess

All because, I’ve seen the Angel of death

He didn’t kill me, or take away my soul

No, not ever, for my heart is what he stole

He hugged me tight, he kissed my cheek

His beautiful eyes, they make me weak

On my cheek, I still feel his soft, warm kiss

I’ve never felt like this before, never felt like this

So the Angel of death, turned into the Angel of life

For I chase after him, my world now in strife

But forever and ever, his love I shall miss

For on my cheek lies my first kiss…

I'm Sorry

I’m sorry for all the things I’ve done

Sorry for worrying you

Sorry for putting myself first

Being conceited, self-centered, and rude!

I’m sorry for the scars on my arms

For scaring you to death

I’m sorry deep inside my heart

With every single breath!

I’m sorry that I am this way

Sorry for not being the real me

I’m upset, and so resentful

My loved ones, can’t you see?

I hope that you’ll forgive me

Cause now I’ve ruined my life

I think about it everyday

Forever in great strife!

And now I see that I was wrong

This Gift Called Love

Slowly you chip away,

You chip away at my walls,

The walls I’ve so carefully built,

Built to keep you out,

The shell of my heart is flaking,

Falling like new-born white snowflakes,

The tips of my fingers are shaking,

Trembling at your slightest touch,

My breaths are coming in gasps,

Making it feel like too much,

My heart, like chocolate, has begun to melt,

What is this? This feeling which I have not felt,

How is it? That it feels so right?

Feels so right, when you look at me?

Is this some sort of magic? Or is it,

Some sort of celestial gift, given by,

The Grace of God, and God alone?

Yes! That is it! A gift from God above!

A gift so great and grand and pure!

A gift that we call love!

The Angels rejoice when we praise the Lord,

Standing together, hand in hand,

And the Angels sing, and the Heaven’s declare,

A song heard throughout the land,

Because I love you, and you love me,

And He loves us for sure,

So together side by side we’ll be,

For now and forever more,

Heart joined to heart, soul joined to soul,

Starting our new life together,

Like a lamb, or a newborn foal,

A plan of our own, here, is not needed,

Because of God’s plan for us, soon to be completed,

And the evils and impurities,

We shall help to be defeated,

Because He came for the weak,

He came for the lost,

For the weary and the restless,

So we lift our hands in praise,

Thanks to the gift from God above,

This gift so great and grand and pure,

This gift we know as Love

Finding A Friend

You’re nothing but a puny girl,

Stuck here in this tragic world

Hoping to find a friend in me,

I really don’t like you,

Can’t you see?”

A girl, brought down,

Her smile, a frown,

Her feelings, she’ll drown,

For you brought that girl down,

“Don’t worry bout’ them,”

They all say,

They’ll tell you that,

Any day,

But then you’re teased,

Made fun of, and taunted,

You’re dreams, now nightmares,

By them you’re haunted,

An old woman said

“All you want is a new friend,

You’ll find one, dear,

Near close to the end,

His name is Jesus,

And you will see,

How he came and died,

 For you and for me,”

This girl, here, now,

Has a new friend,

His name is Jesus,

Love till the end,

The girl no one sat with,

She came up to you,

Her hope you restored,

A life made anew…

Loving You

Some say love is kind

Some say love is blind

Some say lovers only cheat

But I say love is oh so sweet

True love, it never ends

And often starts between good friends

A nervous laugh; a small, shy smile

And then a relationship starts, just after a while

It doesn’t matter where you are

Just let your love shine like a star

For where you are, my heart shall be

Loving you, forever, and endlessly…
